Our strength lies in our relationships with our clients, and that's all about people. We have grown over the years keeping many of our original clients through to today. Its all down to our team of dedicated, friendly advisers.
We currently have a team of six consultants located in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire.
Furthermore, we are able to offer specialist expertise in the fields of retirement planning, Inheritance Tax mitigation, Long Term Care, personal investment, school fees planning, personal protection and corporate benefits.
The Financial Services Authority do not regulate Inheritance Tax planning or Estate Preservation Planning.
COLIN LAST
Colin has been in financial services since 1975, as an Independent Financial Adviser since 1990.
Having founded Tamar from his home in 1998 he works out of the company's offices in a location which is surrounded by fields and ample parking spaces.
Although Colin does not tend to specialise in any one particular area of business, the largest portion of his business has an investment bias. DAVID LOCKE
David has been an Independent Financial Adviser for almost 20 years, joining Tamar in August 2002.
He has a wide range of experience in virtually all aspects of financial planning.

KYRI STAVRI
Kyri has been involved in financial services for over 20 years with the last 17 years in the capacity of an Independent Financial Adviser.
Although he is generally involved in all matters of Financial Planning he considers his main area of expertise to be in Pensions, Investment and Inheritance Tax Planning and prides himself in being able to build strong professional relationships with personal and corporate clients alike.

MARK PHILLIPS
Mark joined Tamar on 1st September 2008. He is an expert on mortgages, whether you need to finance a residential purchase, re-mortgage, investment properties, purchase a commercial premises or to buy an overseas home then he is able to make sure that the right deal is obtained..

JENNIFER NICHOLLS
Jennifer has worked for 20 years as a Financial Adviser and Investment Specialist for several banks and a Stockbroker. She has recently joined Tamar having worked with four members of the Tamar team in the past. She advises on virtually all aspects of financial planning. Jennifer works with Accountants and Solicitors to provide sound independent Financial Advice to their clients. She believes in forming long term relatioships with her clients to enable them to enjoy the best possible financial advice with the greatest care and respect.
Jennifer's hobbies are cooking, cleaning, ironing and taxi driving for her three grown up children. She likes travelling to escape at every opportunity. Tel 0118 977 1961
ALAN BRICE
Alan is an Independent Financial Adviser with 20 years experience in providing Comprehensive Financial Planning advice to clients. He works with a small number of long term clients providing continuity of support in achieving their lifetime goals. He has the capacity to work with a small number of new clients each year and these are often referred by existing clients or through professional recommendations. He is Professionally Qualified and he specializes in Pre and Post Retirement Advice, Investment Management, Inheritance Tax & Long Term Care Planning.
